Update 14.9: "The U.S. Navy's 250th Anniversary"
Update 14.9 was released on January 2, 2026. The update celebrated the 250th anniversary of the United States Navy through the Liberty Harbor event, which allowed players to rebuild and expand a themed naval base by completing combat missions and Expeditions. The update also introduced a new Dockyard featuring Tier X Pan-Asian destroyer Lüshun B, continued Early Access for German cruisers, added a themed Event Pass, and included new Armory content, Brawls, and quality-of-life improvements such as updates to the battle chat system. Liberty Harbor
The update introduced the Liberty Harbor event, which celebrated the 250th anniversary of the United States Navy. Players constructed a naval base by completing missions and Expeditions, earning Naval Base Supplies used to upgrade four separate areas of the harbor. Each upgraded area unlocked additional rewards.
The Naval Command area provided combat missions tied to Random and Ranked Battles, as well as Brawls. Completing these missions rewarded players with supplies needed for progressing through the Liberty Harbor event and upgrading the base.
Operational Command
Operational Command offered additional combat tasks and event progression opportunities. Higher upgrade levels increased the availability and effectiveness of missions that could be completed in Operations, Co-op Battles, and temporary battle types.
Military Port
The Military Port allowed players to send ships on Expeditions. Expeditions required fleets meeting certain criteria and rewarded players with event resources. Ships assigned to Expeditions remained available for normal gameplay.
Fuel Terminal
The Fuel Terminal unlocked supplementary missions and supported progression in the other Liberty Harbor areas. Upgrading the facility improved event efficiency and expanded mission availability.
Players earned multiple themed rewards throughout the event, including a commemorative flag, a seasoned commander and permanent camouflages. Fully completing Liberty Harbor rewarded players with Tier VIII American cruiser Bridgeport.
Liberty Harbor Collection
The event introduced the Liberty Harbor historical collection. Completing collection elements rewarded players with seasoned Commander David Farragut, The Navy 250th Anniversary flag, and a commemorative achievement.
Navy 250 Port
A special Navy 250 Port was added to commemorate the anniversary of the U.S. Navy. The port featured thematic visuals and decorations inspired by American naval history.

Dockyard: Lüshun B
The update included a new Dockyard event centered around Tier X Pan-Asian destroyer Lüshun B (copy of Lüshun). Players progressed through construction phases to obtain the ship and additional rewards.
Event Pass: “Unity, Justice, Freedom”
A themed Event Pass commemorated the anniversary of German reunification. The progression lines rewarded players with commanders, camouflages, and a premium ship - Prinz Eitel Friedrich.
German Cruiser Early Access
Early Access to new German large cruisers continued during the update. Players could obtain the ships through event progression and related activities.
Brawls
The Brawls game mode returned with new rule sets and restricted ship compositions. Players competed in short competitive formats for rewards and progression bonuses. Three brawls took place during the update.
Armory Additions
The Armory received new content during the update, including the rare British aircraft carrier Ocean, available for 62000 Research Points. A regular ship rotation was carried out.
Other Changes
A technical issue was discovered during testing of the previously-announced Campaign improvements, so we have decided to postpone its release to a future Update.
Fixed a bug which sometimes caused an incorrect display of post-battle results.
Updated in-battle tooltip description for the Adrenaline Rush Commander skill.
Fixed textures for Georg Hoffmann and Taihang.
Added Repair Party animations for Archerfish.
The Tournament Domination layouts used in the King of the Sea tournament were changed for the maps Northern Waters and The Faroe Islands.
