Kidd — U.S.A. Premium Tier VIII Destroyer.

A Fletcher-class destroyer, USS Kidd sailed across New York Harbor on her maiden voyage with the Jolly Roger raised. She provided covering fire during the landings on Bougainville Island, the Gilbert Islands, and the Marshall Islands in the Pacific Ocean. The destroyer took part in the Battle of Leyte Gulf and the Battle of Okinawa. USS Kidd was one of three ships designated by the Navy for preservation as a memorial. In May 1982, the destroyer was towed to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to be converted into a naval museum and memorial.

• Update October 19, 2017:
  • Repair Party consumable added, with the following characteristics:
    • Heals 83 HP per second for 28 seconds.
    • Two charges stock, three charges stock with premium consumable.
    • 120 seconds cooldown, 80 seconds cooldown with premium consumable.
• Update 0.6.13:
  • The efficiency of the Defensive Fire consumable was increased. Now it increases the power of the aura by four times (instead of three).
  • Fire extinguishing time now 30 s instead of 60 s.
  • The survivability of air defense weapons was tested and brought to a single standard. The change affects 40mm guns
• Update 0.6.15:
  • Minor fixes to ship textures and geometry.
  • A bonus was added to the "Type 10" permanent camouflage: a 10% discount to the cost of post-battle maintenance.
• Update 0.7.7:
  • For 127mm AP / SC Mk38 armor-piercing shells, the detonation time of the fuse was reduced from 0.03 to 0.01 s.
