Battle of Santiago de Cuba The collection is dedicated to Pascual Cervera y Topete, a Spanish Vice Admiral who commanded a squadron at the Battle of Santiago de Cuba in 1898, a defining engagement of the Spanish-American War. Although the engagement ended in defeat for Spain, the courage with which he fought against superior forces garnered admiration on both sides, and he was greeted in his homeland as a hero. Now he takes his place in World of Warships as Spain's Unique Commander.

• Ship Characteristics: Triunfante is a hypothetical ship that inherited the name of one of the Spanish ships of the line of the 18th century. She is built for aggressive close-range engagements with her nine 406 mm guns and Alternative firing mode, which increases her accuracy as well as HE and especially AP shell damage even more at the cost of maximum range. She has solid survivability and high speed for a battleship, allowing her to close in on the enemy for a decisive strike. However, she has short firing range, with alpha damage getting quite average at longer distances, and she carries weak torpedo protection.
• Obtaining Methods in Update 15.7:
  • Separate bundles available for Doubloons or real money in the Armory and Premium Shop.
  • Sequential bundles for Doubloons in the Armory (with Triunfante situated at the end, though obtainable early directly from containers).
